The hostages rescue: a hard blow to the farcs and the political bolivarian project.

Unquestionably that the emblematic hostages military rescue operation, in which Ingrid Betancourt, the three American citizens, among other national army and police members, turn out to be a very hard and irreversible blow for these FARC bloodthirsty criminals as well as XXI century socialism political project, which is inspired in the Bolivarian ideal, which betted a negotiation through humanitarian interchange, by bestowing the status of political beligerent acting force to this delinquent group, who employs the kidnapping as a political weapon to blackmail and to demand a condition set against any peacemaking initiative , in which we have to make a special acknowledgment to the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, whereas he took as his own cause the hostages liberation, particularly Ingrid Betancourt, exerting steady pressure on the Farc and international community.
Without digressing with technical details about the rescue operation, as it has been confirmed by the same kidnapped ones, regarding it as impeccable, perfect spectacular even as a miracle among other qualifications, the important fact, from now on is to analyze its consequences or the impact that this novel fact will affect the Colombian internal reality.
Whereas our frail democracies, which are permanently harassed by totalitarian tendency regimes. It is certain that for the unjustly blooded sister Colombian Republic, for a tiny irrational group, the rescue means a new success in the history of that country, and a lesson that we all must learn, seeing that these movements have abandoned the ideological and political struggle , and turned into a narcoterrorist criminal organization, which has let them to self-finance , as well as they are contributed openly or closely by sympathetic governments, banks and NGO, many of them, who say that they defend the human rights, but not the victims ,but the terrorists.

In my very particular opinion, as shown in many articles about terrorism, spread by Internet, I have never advocated or I will advocate to dialog with criminals as terrorists, because they use it as a strategy to improve their image ,both in an internal or external level, they say they take care of the hostages, by recurring to the “humanitarian interchange “ making believe of their sensibility for the human rights respect , they impersonate the experts in this subject , but they are the first ones who outrage these elementary rights; we have only to mention the vile and coward assassination in “El Valle”of the eleven deputies, they put to blame cynically to the people who really strife for the peacemaking and welfare of their countrymen. Undoubtedly, that the Bolivarian political project is diminishing its strength, due to the hard blows that has been dealt to his potential armed groups, now very dwindled, who was in charge to face militarily the democratic government of Colombia. The casualties of their supreme leaders: Marulanda, Raúl Reyes, Iván Ríos and the seizure and now in USA prision of important leader e.g. Simon Trinidad and Sonia, the active terrorist demobilization, and now the rescue of these emblematic hostages. For this criminal organization is the worst thing that could have passed on them, and it is better for them that they release the great quantity of hostages without demanding anything in return, which does not spear them to be submitted to just trial for their committed crimes and the sever damage caused to the noble Colombian people, the rest of the region and the international community, by mean of the arms and drugs trafficking, and also by the money laundering , among other illicit acts. It is very recent or premature to analyze or to evaluate what is going to happen from the political viewpoint due to this operation. A question, that I can afford to ask to myself, is the following one: who will win?, and who will lose? a far-reaching fact, like the one occurred on the July 02, 2008. My first perception in view of the events is that the great winner is the “peace, liberty and the democracy” as a matter of fact in this particular case of Colombia, the president Alvaro Uribe who was at the height of a statesman and a political-military strategist , characterized by his plainness and humbleness. The big loser will be, beside the FARC, all the governments and political leaders who opposed and spoiled the Colombian government strife politics against the narcoterrorism.
As to the region, the positions are split, this fact also extends internally to Columbian, but it does not reach more than 10 % of the ones who oppose this succeeded and brave decision from the Columbian President, among them ironically Ingrid Betancourt’s mother, Mrs. Yolanda Pulecio, who acts under the advise and guard of Mrs. Piedad Cordova, with whom certainly were dedicated to the political tourism at the expense of hostages' pains and sufferings. Colombia does not need any international cooperation from his neighboring countries in order to finish off this scourge, whereas by excepting the Peruvian Government, all others have obscure interests in allowing the FARC to have a moment of rest, and that these two countries (Colombia and Peru) fail to consolidate their democracies and their dynamical economic models, some are guided by a stingy egoism, others who want to impose their political project. The defeat, that these criminals have to undergone, must be military and it should not be a dialog or a negotiation; regarding this issue, it should be spurned the false and hypocritical cooperation which has the this purpose, whereas they pretend to get involved or intervene in the internal affair of these countries, ironically is the fact that most of the cases, they are unable to solve their own problems

Considering other Countries, the White House tenant election is of paramount importance, because it does not deals with the presidency of any country, it deals with the most powerful superpower in the world, where political decisions not only must respond or be limited to the solution of domestic problems, of utmost importance for the next administration, but they have also a connotation the international community scenery , the one which is confronting serious problems, specially in the area of security issues, due mainly to the advancement underwent by the terrorism scourge, drugs and weapons dealings, money laundry; among many illicit deeds, which have turned out to be a threat for the peace and political stability of our new-born democracies.

The American society has a great responsibility, at this moment, to elect its new president, the one who must keep a strong position against terrorism, and to the governments that protect and/or support these criminal organizations, which are very far away of fighting for the justice and social equality as they utter, they have become narcoterrorism mercenaries, whereas they have been able to penetrate the different layers of our society, which are now more exposed to its self-destructions.
Nevertheless, there are also many other problems like the energetic crisis, food crisis and environmental pollution that can be quoted, but to me, the security and political stability must be prioritized not only by the U.S. government agenda, but in the other government’s democratic agendas as well, the ones which are compelled to device and implement their own agenda, in other to prevent and to struggle this XXI century threat which we have termed narcoterrorism, due to the threat, that it represents to the humanity. The precandidate Clinton, Obama and also Mc Cain must be conscious of this fact.

It is not an overstatement, to consider this issue a great challenge for the U.S.A. presidential elections. This society , as stated previously, not only has the responsibility to elect a president

who can solve their internal problems, but also, because the position that this country fulfills worldwide, as peace keeper among people, to counter the political-ideological fundamentalism. This presidental election must be to the height of a real statesman, who must be able to deal in politics, that can unite the other international community leaders, in order to tackle their societies' problems. As the history has shown that the isolated or unilateral actions are condemned to the failure.
The American democracy is one of the most solid of the world, a political system, that thank to its liberty and tolerance among other principles and values, has allowed them to get the superpower status, which main trait is its contribution to the humanity, the one which has become the center of worldwide political gravitation.It would be a terrible mistake to be tempted to accept these political electing demagogic and irresponsible offers, which are said to represent a change, which may be positive and negative, no matter what they mean when they refer to it, nevertheless, it is a political attractive offer, above all, for the underdeveloped countries, which, in many cases, have implemented it as a social-political experiments, specially by those leftist leaders, but in a society like the north American one, I resist to believe that this fact can take place, only if this society wants to resign to its superpower status, wants to become a so called a third world second-quality republic.
A second-quality republics, where the leaders, in order to get and to keep the power, promote the hatred, resentment, racism and social split, lead their countries to its most absolute and irreversible backlash, they blame the empire of their incapacity and inability to resolve the problems of their society, the CIA, and of course the capitalism from which they get unjustly benefits, and above all, they blame them for having perverted this model, which they have converted into a Wild State Capitalism, controlled by these power regimes, characterized by a cynism, and a despoiling destructive capacity.
This reality cannot be ignored or underestimated, this deed must encourage the American leadership to reassume its role as an example or model to be followed, in spite of its imperfections, it is still an unquestionable reference, what is possible to get with sacrifice and labor, which has led this great country to turn into a superpower, which is a synonym of success and opportunity, where offer change makes no sense, it can only lead to a leap in the void, as it has happened in our countries, with lots of natural resource, which are now becoming emerging markets for the Asian economies, the ones which are profiting from the free market and the globalization, without wasting time in unfruitful discussions about redefinition of political-ideological projects, that are present up to date in our regions, where one thinks that the American politics is interested in this disastrous experiences of cloning.

If this cloning process takes place, a world wide conspiracy to destroy the USA will be carried out, the one which is led by Persian Golf countries, China and Russia, taking advantage of this multipolarity fact. To this cause will be added left tendency, anarchist movements and third world countries, which depend paradoxically mostly on American Empire, such is the case of Venezuela, country that, due to its invaluable human resource and enegetic power, should be the leader of the emerging region economies instead of being only producing and exportorting merely one

non-renewbable resource (petroleum), whose destination is the US market, ironically the country that finishes financing these democratic countries political destabilization projects, which in ortder to get their goals, provoke strikes, mobilizations, sabotages, private property’s squatting, productive sector destruction that among other facts contradict their policies to solve their food crisis, which has been undergone by these countries themselves, the ones that are taking part in these published political changes, which are only a cynic, demagogic and populist rhetoric.

The political leaders of these countries are not interested in the people peaceful and democratic coexistence, but in establishment of totalitarian governments, which agree with their politica-idiological projects. The USA, in his role of world wide super power, cannot take this risk , where in addition to the ideology and the politics, the religion, the narcoterrorism, weapons smuggling, and money laundry among others are also present. They have the strategy to establish their model or project in different countries by infiltrating in parallel organizations such as social help, human right defense (terrorists), environmental protection, and lately in the solution of the food crisis; as stated previously, these facts correspond with an ideological and political project. In our region we have the famous ALBA (Bolivarian alternative for the Americas) houses, among other form of open or covered ideological penetration and encroachment.

Terrorism and the stressing hemispheric relationships

Once again, the narcoterrorism has had success in imposing its agenda in the hemispheric relationship, which was about to cause a domino like diplomatic crises among Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Nicaragua, as a result of the death of one of the most relevant Farc’s leader, the narcoterrorist “Raul Reyes”. As never before the hemispheric governments were and will be confronted for their position against this subversive movement, which is considered for some of our leaders like a belligerent group, which must be supported in his fight and its right to do so, while a second group has chosen to keep a neutral and shy position, and finally a third group of governments are against this movement calling them narcoterrorists. This split was also evident with the death of “Raul Reyes” and the other terrorists, whereas for some of the leaders it was considered like an assassination or a massacre, for others it was the result from a clash among the Colombian army and police forces against the irregular troops. This fact in spite of the friendly gesture expressed in the Santo Domingo´s meeting and the facts that took place in the OAS, will never change the governants’ position regarding this scourge, the help and protection will continue and it will be done openly, consequently the intervention will take a new turn not only in Colombia but in the whole region and beyond, no matter what the international community might think of it, there is nothing to hide, everything has been said in this scenery of the “people who lose or win”, certainly the big winner in this confrontation is the narcoterrorism, who with great skill has known to impose its hemispheric relationships agenda, which go through a severe crisis, not only by the overwhelming Ecuadorian land sovereignty violation, which we agree, but the background that stems from the different position that exist to confront the narcoterrorism, which depend consequently from different ideological and political situations and not to the actual threat that this deed represents for humanity.

Fortunately this narcoterrorism imposed agenda was to a false political leader's level, since the civil society composed mostly by: intellectuals, academicians, students, artists, entrepreneurs, businessmen, professionals, workers, social groups in general, and mass media, among many reject the ferocious and bloodthisty acts carried out by this movement, which is active not only in Colombia but in the whole region, with representatives far beyond, they point out that their struggle conforms an ideological and political project, specifically, the Bolivarian Project whose head is the President Hugo Chavez, which can cause great hassle if the government denies this group asseveration.
This circumstance makes more intricate our hemispheric relationships, because it is not dealt
with an isolated fact as the violation of Ecuador’s sovereignty, but a whole ideological and political agenda.
As it may be remembered this relationship crises, was not limited to the ambassadors retreat, but to the army mobilization toward the border, border shutdown, blocking the commerce between both countries, and accusation interchange. According to Colombian authorities the information found in Raul Reyes’s computers, shows information that purport that the president Hugo Chavez from Venezuela and Rafael Correa from Ecuador are committed to protect and support the Farc with money and weapons. The political leaders, in presidential charges, have not only the right but are obliged to have these situations cleared, due to the position and investiture that State Chiefs fulfill, consequently they must be the first one interested in solving this matter, because their images and personal credibility are questioned or at dispute, the position they fulfill produce an effect directly or indirectly on the society they represent.
Up to the clearance of this fact, doubts und mistrusts will continue, not only among the offense charging governors, but from the societies that confront them. There are many questions after Rio’s meeting, which must be answered by Colombian, Venezuelan and Ecuador: will they be following to reveal the information contained in the found computers ?, the ones that purport the two presidents of State are involved in supporting and protecting the narcoterrorism, as a part of a political project strategy; what will happen with president chavez’s threat to send the Sukhoy planes to Colombia?, the threat not to buy Colombian products any more?, the Colombian enterprise expropriation threat or their nationalization, and many other threat that it would not they were not happen, not even like simple threats or turn them into reality, for our people welfare, who claim to live in peace and harmony. Referring to the president Correa who besides having sent troops to the border, threatened to bomb the Colombian territories, to its institution which shelter paramilitary. And the obsessive idea that the OAS condemns Colombia, last but not least the threat to get to the final of the way. I do not understand what he pretends, He succeeded in getting the hemispheric community support regarding the violation of his territory by Colombian, whose government recognized and excused for it. As far as I am concerned, the president Correa, does not correspond to a state president, and with a conflictive and not conciliating attitude, is uncomfortable for the region. The support received by the sovereignty violation of his country might die out, he might be left alone with his warrior desires , whereas the death of one of his country man jointly with Raul Reyes will be irrelevant to the diplomatic point of view unless he declares himself as a terrorist defender, this fact represents for the same country a danger; on the contrary, he should be very thankful to the government of Colombia for having gotten rid of this scourge, people, who protect criminals and assassins, run the risk to be confused with one of them, I hope that this attitude corresponds with internal politic and does not intend to protect or support the narcoterrorism; which must be confronted and defeated. There is not discussion about this issue, neither the government can be claiming for these assassins' human rights, on the contrary, they are obliged to comply with human rights victims caused by these criminal groups, with whom we can not dialogue or we cannot be submitted to their humanitarian interchange strategy, because this fact is used politically.

If we take into account the variety of points of view to face the narcoterrorism, and the Colombian Ecuador clash outcome. Our hemispheric Governors should not follow the game to this terrible scourge, which has constituted in a threat to humanity, listen to the people who reject these criminals' methods and acts, make less intense your language and your actions that can be exploited by these irregular groups and their sympathizers, learn from the artist and the public who were at the concert “Paz sin Fronteras” (Peace without borders), which was held at Simon Bolivar Bridge, on March 10,2008, this bridge unites the two brother like people. Colombia and Venezuela. The message was clear and unequivocal; don't make war, make peace.

In this historical event, in which participated famous singers like “Juanes” (Organizer), Alejandro Sanz, Miguel Bose, Juan Luis Guerra, Carlos Vives, Ricardo Montaner y Fernando Velazco, demonstrated, in spite of the Shakira absence, that our people love peace and do not want a war or any other form of violence. They love life, but they don’t love death.

Sirs political leaders, if you keep up with the feelings of your people, act and behave according to your level, like real statesmen and not like bullies or long lasting provokers to incite hatred and violence inside or outside your borderlines, throw to the trash basket your narcoterrorism agenda and organize your own agenda to put up with this scourge. It is not justified when this problem is touched on, in international meetings and outside, we are confronted , we should not play their game, by recurring to threats and disqualifications, wearing out the credibility and leadership from our newborn democracies.
In addition to the deploring situation in which our muddy hemispheric relations are, the fact is that many nations are particpating in an armament race, without taking into account the consequences of their deeds, which may be startling for the region. We don’t want a political ideological confrontation scenery, which may respond to the narcoterrorism strategy

Terrorism and justice protection

To begin with, the national and international legislation, as well as the different judicial instances in charge of applying them are pleasing and protect the terrorism, which knows very well how to take cover by means of the regulations dealing with the human right defense, pretending to be victims of the States or governments which fight against this cruel and bloodthirsty scourge which threats world peace, with unlimited actions causing a high cost due to its consequences and irreversible sequels. The law, pretending human rights defense; are drastic with the people who fight against this scourge, qualifying it as against humanity crimes, consequently causing that the actions be less effective or timorous, letting the terrorism to strike back, protected by a justice and a pleasing and protective law enforcement. The terrorism is scrappy against the State, it has planned a struggle or open war and in all fronts, by mean of which it assumes its role not only of a person who makes a victim out of a innocent and defenseless population, but it is the victim itself in a confrontation of this nature devised by them, they invoke the human right outrage, so as the national and international justice is forgiving and generous with these criminals, they always appeal to it. All of this is part of its strategy.In front of the society in a coward an cynic attitude as pointed out previously, they pretend to be victims and their struggle is for the justice and equality of the underprivileged ones, who at the end, are deprived of their most elemental rights such as privation of their liberty or annihilation if they do not agree with their macabre project. Its strategy in publicity and propaganda is to make believe that their struggle is a heroic or self-sacrificial act, we have to admit that they have gotten many followers and allies who are very powerful, which ranges from political leaders, intellectuals, academicians, renown artists, means of communications, entrepreneurs, businessmen, motivated by visible or invisible interests
